The Oil and Gas Administration of the Jicarilla Apache Nation (JOGA) is responsible for the management
of the nearly 2200 producing oil and gas wells on Jicarilla lands. The JOGA Divisions currently oversees
132 active leases and 10 Mineral Development Agreements (MDA) on nearly 377,000 acres. Currently there are 31
companies operating wells and 438 companies providing vendor services to wells and associated facilities
all of which must be monitored for compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
It is our mission to promote the development of the Nation's mineral resources while protecting the beauty of our ancestral lands. Our staff is committed to serving the Nation's interest and providing efficient service to our industry partners which conduct oil and gas operations on our reservation. The new JOGA website is one part of our effort to foster greater efficiency in managing our resources.
